LinkTenn Award

JECDB Web site is a 2009 LinkTenn Award Winner!

The JECDB web site won the 2009 LinkTenn Award at the State of Tennessee 56th Annual Governor's Conference that was held in September.  The State of Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development recognizes those organizations that have achieved outstanding economic development marketing through the use of the internet.  Communities are evaluated and often eliminated for new projects based solely on their web site.

Criteria for the award included search engine ranking, availability of downloadable documents and data, effective branding, ease of navigation, interactivity with users, valuable use of maps and overall appearance.
