Wilson County offers several public parks, playgrounds, sports fields, picnic areas, tennis courts and swimming pools. Several public and private golf courses, recreational lakes and rivers, campsites and miles of hiking trails are located in the Wilson County area.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park
900 acres open to the public with a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, an Olympic-plus size swimming pool, playground, horseshoe pits, softball field, volleyball courts, and tennis courts. Long Hunter State Park
Long Hunter State Park is situated along the shore of J. Percy Priest Lake. It consists of four units: Couchville, Baker's Grove, Bryant Grove and Sellar's Farm. Picnicking, swimming, hiking, backpacking, boating, fishing, nature photography and wildlife observation are among the activities available to park visitors. Hours: 7:00 a.m. to sunset year round. Five Oaks Golf and Country Club opened for business in 2001 and is a 506 acre community that lies in the scenic countryside off Highway 70 in Lebanon, Tennessee and comes complete with an 18-hole golf course, a 21,000-square-foot clubhouse and 450 residential development lots.
Lebanon Golf & Country Club has been a part of the Wilson County community for more than 50 years. It has a 9-hole golf course, pro shop, banquet facility, restaurant and swimming pool.
Family Recreational Centers
Jimmy Floyd Family Center established in 1999 is a publicly owned fitness and aquatics facility located in Lebanon, Tennessee. The center offers an indoor & outdoor pool, fitness center, racquetball courts, indoor track, and gymnasium. In addition, The Jimmy Floyd Family Center offers a variety of program options designed to offer convenience and variety to suit your lifestyle.
Mt. Juliet YMCA at The Valley Center opened its initial location in Mt. Juliet in 2007. The facility offers a range of health and wellness programs and services for the community including a full line of cardiovascular, strength and free-weight equipment, group fitness classes, on-site childcare services and several children's fitness programs. The YMCA hopes to work toward a major full service YMCA in the coming years.
