Aside from the scenic views of Wilson County, there are several other attractions members of this community enjoy. By traveling a short distance down Interstate 40, Wilson County residents can enjoy two professional sports teams based out of Nashville: the Nashville Predators (NHL) and the Tennessee Titans (NFL). And of course, there’s only one Grand Ole Opry, which can be attended at either Opryland or the original Ryman Auditorium in downtown Nashville.

Wilson County hosts two school districts: Wilson County Schools and Lebanon Special School District. Additionally, the county is home to two private schools providing Christian based education opportunities. Higher education opportunities can also be found through Cumberland University, a four year liberal arts school founded in 1842.
